Campus Connectivity
IISER Kolkata is situated at Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal. The campus is well connected to Kolkata and nearby towns via multiple modes of transport.
- By Rail: The nearest railway station is Kalyani Station — ~3 km from campus. Auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws run from the station gate.
- By Road: National Highway 12 passes close to the campus. Regular bus services from Kolkata (Esplanade, Kalyani) are available.
- By Air: The nearest airport is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata — ~55 km away.

Institute Transport Services
The institute provides dedicated transport services to facilitate student travel:
- Station Shuttle: Scheduled buses run between the campus gate and Kalyani station for students and staff.
- Event Transport: Special bus services are arranged during convocations, orientation days, and major fests.
- Toto Services: A paid Toto service operates within the campus, providing convenient and accessible transportation for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to commute between different locations within the Institute.
